Servatur travels to London to take part in the World Travel Market

November 2013

Some company executives traveled to London in early November to participate in the World Travel Market (WTM), the fair of the tourist industry for excellence. Santiago Fernández Caballero, Servatur CEO, met with the president of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, José Miguel Bravo de Laguna, the Mayors of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán, Marco Aurelio Pérez and Francisco González respectively, as well as other business leaders with tourist facilities in areas such as Maspalomas and Mogán, among other presents.

During this meeting, professionals analyzed the tourism situation of Gran Canaria in order to define strategies and present their positions before them.

The WTM brought together a huge number of experts and popular personalities who act as promoters for their hometowns. This was the case of David Marrero, a tennis player from Telde who attended the Canary Islands’ pavilion before his proclamation as Final Masters champion of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
