Servatur rewards the winners of the Masters League Beach Tennis

December 2013

The American Beach Tennis Tournaments League was a complete success. Five events took place in the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on the beaches of Las Canteras and Alcaravaneras. Servatur Hotel Management signed an agreement with, the event organizer, to assist in the awards: our company presented a holiday in a double room to the winners of the final Master.

After a month and a half of competition, the winners of the League were Jon Castellano and the Russian player Tania Balagura. At the same time, the winners of the Final Master, played between the four tennis players in each category, were the Bulgarian Stilian Stoitsev, the youngest player (18 years old), and Tania Balagura, who had a double prize in the competition. These two players were rewarded with a holiday in double room in our three star hotel Servatur Terrazamar Suite, located in the southern town of Puerto Rico.

Beach tennis is played on a court of 16 meters long and 8 meters wide (in the case of doubles). The net is situated at a height of 1.70 meters and this sport is practiced with specific rackets.
